#11 BBQ SWEET & SOUR PRAWNS

Serves 4

BBQ SWEET & SOUR PRAWNS
Ingredients required for this recipe:

2 tablespoons Trident Sweet Chilli Sauce

1 tablespoon Fish Sauce

5 teaspoons caster sugar

2 tablespoons rice or cider vinegar

1 tablespoon cornflour

2 tablespoons oil

20 green prawns, peeled and de-veined

½ red capsicum, diced

1 celery stick, diced

1 small onion, diced

1 x 225g can pineapple pieces

1 can Trident Chinese Mixed Vegetables, drained

 

Instructions:
  • In a bowl combine Trident Sweet Chilli Sauce, Fish Sauce,
  • sugar, vinegar and cornflour with ½ cup water.
  • Heat oil in a wok and stir-fry prawns for 2½ mins, until pink and firm. Remove to a plate.
  • Stir-fry diced vegetables for 1½ mins.
  • Add the prepared sauce and simmer for 1 min.
  • Return prawns, add pineapple and Trident Chinese Mixed Vegetables.
  • Simmer gently for 2-3 mins. Serve.
